I have read many parenting books before and after the birth of my first son Ben. I found a issue with all the books there was no chapters about what’s important for the “Daddys” to do. When I was growing up my Dad never really did anything but sit and watch tv with us. I didn’t want my children have that kind of father. In our house the “Mommy“ does not do everything around the house alone. I wanted my sons to see that Daddy is part of everything we do. When Ben was about six months when he started to have showers with my husband I love the bonding between the two of them. Now with two little one they have bubble baths they still have baths with Mommy. Everyday there is always something new Ben is doing to help that makes me so proud to be there Mommy.

Here are some ideas I recommend Daddy's and Mommy's do with there children.
1. Baths or Showers
2. Cooking Dinners ( Or Dessert )
3. Cleaning up after dinner
4. Cleaning up there toys together
5. Feed the pets
6. Help with Laundry
7. Making the beds
8. Vacuuming the house ( Ben loves the vacuuming)
Ever since we have Ben be part of what we are doing it has shown him that its a fun time not a chore...
Hope some of my tips help you out.
